We invite you to join us in honouring, remembering and mourning the victims of the tragedy that took place at the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival on April 25, 2025 in Vancouver.
If you intend to come, please wear black. While flowers are appreciated, we encourage donations to fundraisers directly supporting those affected by the tragedy.
The vigil will take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Optional items: blankets, chairs, candles and umbrellas.
Call out for volunteers:
- Set up (6:00 pm) and take down (8:00 pm)
- Hold signs and read stories
- Performers such as singers or spoken word
- Ushers to guide people from parking lot to vigil location
- Volunteers to hand out electronic candles
