In solidarity with community, in profound grief, rage and frustration over acts of hate, racism and prejudice in our city
We are in solidarity with community in profound grief, rage and frustration over acts of hate, racism and prejudice in our city - Hamilton, ON.
The senseless death of Rwandan Canadian, Erixon Kabera, father of three, under the hands of the Hamilton Police.
We demand justice. We demand answers.
The xenophobic gathering in front of Jackson Square with a "mass deportation now" banner, inciting fear and division.
And the proposal by some City Council officials of using the 'notwithstanding clause' to clear encampments, furthering the struggles of the unhoused.
We denounce these displays of violence, hate and lack of care. We will continue to build safer and inclusive communities for all.
